Melaka International Trade Centre (MITC) proudly achieved a major milestone by winning the Excellence Service Sector Award at the Chief Minister Industrial Excellence Awards (CMIEA) 2025, held on 2 December 2025 at Hatten Hotel Melaka. This recognition affirms MITC’s unwavering commitment to service excellence, resilience and continuous improvement within the service sector.
The CMIEA Awards is a highly regarded platform that recognises organisations demonstrating outstanding performance, operational excellence and sustainable business practices. Securing this award is not easy, as participants must undergo a stringent and comprehensive assessment process conducted by industry experts and appointed evaluators.
For MITC, the assessment involved detailed evaluations covering service quality standards, operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, governance practices, innovation, risk management, and overall organisational performance. In addition, supporting documents, performance data and on-site evaluations were required to demonstrate consistency and credibility in service delivery.
